KUMIKO KITO is active as a unique pianist with a several face. She is a Buddhist priest not only pianist.

In the monthly magazine “The Friends of Music”, which represents the field of classical music, it was rated as “music that is friendly and intimate.” The music is sleek and stylish. Furthermore, it has colorful music and flash, and has gained wide support regardless of age or sex.

So far, they have performed at major domestic halls such as Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Tokyo Opera City Omigakudo, Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, Higashi-Kanagawa Kanakku Hall, Nagoya Electric Cultural Center, and Toyonaka City Arts Center, and received praise. In addition, Carnegie Hall (New York, USA), Cite des Arts (Paris, France), MusicwithMasters(Pistoia, Italy) has expanded its activities to overseas.

In addition to works with improvised elements such as Mozart, Chopin, Scarlatti, she specializes in themed concerts. The concert focused on Brahms’s later works in Nagoya City in 2016 was highly praised by the information magazine “Nagoya Theater Journal”.

I studied “a leisurely walk”and “make someone happy” at the Faculty of Music, Ferris University, and have pursued a natural way of life with this as my motto. Where on earth is music, an invisible art? As if to answer such a question, I spin one tone and one sound treat with love and draw out my own view of the world. Such attitudes have an everlasting glow beyond time and space and continue to attract the audience.
